Some 130 people resplendent in their finest outfits attended a garden party at the residence of George & Brenda Hood in Westerhall Point, St. David’s on Sunday 2nd June 2013 to mark the 60th anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Patrons of this fundraiser were treated to a BBQ lunch with desserts and ice cream accompanied by live jazz from Livingstone Fraser and his Jubilee band. A prize was awarded for the finest hat and there was an auction of some artwork and gifts Attendees also enjoyed a balloon ‘pop’ raffle and won numerous prizes donated by local businesses.
The party was organised by the JJ Robinson Trust (jjrtrust.com), a registered charity dedicated to providing educational assistance to needy Grenadian students since 1996.
