Jim and Jean Robinson lived for more than 20 years in the village of Soberton Hampshire UK before moving to Grenada a small island in the Caribbean 12 years ago to run the J.J. Robinson Trust.

They had already set up the J.J. Robinson trust in 1996 to help young Grenadians from poor and disadvantaged backgrounds to get off to a better start in life.

In 2004 in response to the devastation caused by hurricane Ivan in Grenada, friends in Soberton established a UK branch of the trust to help raise funds to support the Robinson’s work.

Since then the UK branch has achieved an enormous amount and a nationwide network of colleagues, supporters and friends with fundraising events, without which the J.J. Robinson Trust could not continue.
